If your pistol has a captured factory guide rod assembly, you can replace it with an ISMI captured system. Machined from tool steel, it is designed to work with the small ID flat wire recoil spring as offered by ISMI and the factory. After machining, the guide rods are stress relieved and cryogenically processed to enhance grain structure.
If you have an older pistol without a captured assembly, this will allow you to upgrade your components for increased durability and improved performance. The ISMI captured guide rod requires no modifications or alterations.
